Apprenticeship Overview
The Apprentice – Statistical Programming role is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while working on meaningful assignments that complement your education in STEM, business, and healthcare. Key Responsibilities
As an apprentice, you will:
- Participate in and execute entry-level functions in accordance with Fortrea and sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze and program clinical trial data, contributing to the understanding of the drug development process.
- Gain insights into various components like clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms, case report forms, and regulatory submissions for IND and NDA applications.
- Collaborate with a talented team of 700+ statistical programmers, enhancing your professional and technical skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for young and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Educational Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, CSE, or ISE, MCA, or M.Sc. in Statistics.
Technical Skills
- Strong programming skills along with knowledge of SQL and UNIX environments.
- Familiarity with statistical software and programming languages such as SAS, R, and Python would be a plus.
- A basic understanding of statistical methods, as well as clinical domain knowledge would also be advantageous.
