🧠 Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Review published biomedical and scientific literature to identify adverse event (AE) case reports and non-individual case reports.
- Apply regulatory guidelines (ICH, GVP, FDA, EMA) and internal SOPs to determine case validity.
- Perform relevancy assessment in accordance with accepted industry pharmacovigilance standards.
- Support and train literature scanners on inclusion/exclusion criteria for case identification.
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure physician teams meet required PV competencies.
- Undertake additional drug safety and compliance tasks as assigned by team leads or managers.
🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification
- MBBS or MD from a recognized medical institution.
Experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience in drug safety, pharmacovigilance, or clinical research (freshers with PV training may apply).
Technical & Functional Competencies
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulatory guidelines.
- Experience or knowledge of narrative writing for safety case reports.
- Working knowledge of MedDRA coding.
- Sound understanding of pharmacological and clinical concepts.
