Job Title: Medical Coder – ICD-10-CM / HCC (Risk Adjustment)
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Medical Coder specializing in HCC (Hierarchical Condition Category) and Risk Adjustment, your primary duties will include:
- Reviewing and analyzing patient medical records to identify diagnoses.
- Accurately assigning ICD-10-CM codes for various conditions.
- Focusing on Risk Adjustment coding (HCC) to ensure compliant and precise documentation.
- Ensuring all coding activities meet compliance standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to clarify documentation and improve accuracy.
- Maintaining productivity and quality standards as set by the organization.
Who Can Apply?
- Freshers with formal training in ICD-10-CM and HCC coding.
- Experienced candidates with up to 2 years of experience in medical coding.
- Graduates in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field are highly preferred.
- Candidates with CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) certification will have a distinct advantage.
