Key Responsibilities
In this quality control analyst apprentice position, you’ll play a vital role in laboratory operations. Responsibilities include:
- Executing analysis of finished goods, stability samples, raw materials, packing materials, in-process, and cleaning samples, along with maintaining relevant laboratory documentation.
- Intimating and reporting results post-analysis, ensuring timely completion of online documents and daily reporting to supervisors.
- Verifying instrument calibration and working condition before analysis, and checking availability of essentials like approved protocols, reference standards, reagents, and equipment (e.g., HPLC, GC columns, water baths).
- Preparing and maintaining working standards, analytical data sheets, Excel spreadsheets, and entering data/results into the SAP system.
- Handling destruction of QC samples (e.g., retention and analyzed samples) and generating quality reports.
- Ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, food regulations (US-21 CFR Part 111), FSSAI, and GxP data integrity; raising/closing deviations, OOS/OOT, change controls, and quality events.
- Assisting in equipment qualification, maintaining logbooks for HPLC/GC columns, and performing safe lab operations per MSDS with proper PPE usage.
- Promoting good housekeeping, accident-free work, waste disposal, and QEHS objectives; identifying incidents, non-conformities, and ensuring worker participation.
- Undergoing trainings on cGMP, HSE, departmental procedures, and implementing work permit systems during maintenance.
