🔍 Key Responsibilities – Upstream Processing
- Perform upstream operations including cell culture, media preparation, and bioreactor operations
- Support process development and process optimization activities
- Execute scale-up studies and manufacturing runs
- Monitor and control critical process parameters (CPPs)
- Prepare, maintain, and follow SOPs and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs)
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Downstream Processing, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control teams
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience in Upstream Processing
- Strong knowledge of mammalian and/or microbial cell culture
- Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
⭐ Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience with bioreactors (stirred-tank, single-use systems)
- Exposure to biologics, vaccines, or cell-based products
- Understanding of process scale-up and optimization
- Familiarity with regulatory expectations in biopharmaceutical manufacturing
