Responsibilities in Job
As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), the selected candidate will have various key responsibilities related to the project, which include:
- Clinical Sample Experiments: Performing experiments on clinical samples and following up on details of all patients involved in the project under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate records of data related to the project and updating patient information regularly.
- Workshops and Training: Attending workshops on topics like extracellular vesicles that are central to the research.
- Manuscript Writing: Contributing to the writing of research manuscripts for publication.
- Collaboration and Communication: Regularly communicating findings and updates to the project team and collaborating with other researchers.
Qualification and Skills
The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:
Essential Qualifications:
- A Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or any other related discipline from a recognized institution.
- NET/GATE qualification or any other national eligibility test is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
- An M.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Experience in animal handling, nutrition, size exclusion chromatography, RT-PCR, and Flow Cytometry will be preferred.
Skills:
- Strong data management skills.
- Proficiency in conducting laboratory experiments and techniques.
- Ability to write and publish scientific manuscripts.
- Good communication skills and ability to attend workshops.

Remuneration and Duration
- Salary: Rs. 37,000 per month, plus HRA.
