Job Description: Research Associate – Analytical Development
In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and efficacy of OSD products. You will work with advanced analytical instruments and be responsible for key development and testing activities.
Position: Research Associate – Analytical Development (OSD)
Experience: 1 to 3 Years (OSD Experience is Mandatory)
Qualification: M.Sc / M.Pharm
Location: Hetero Labs, Jeedimetla Unit-III, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following areas of analytical development:
- Method Development & Validation: Designing and validating robust analytical methods for new and existing OSD products to ensure accuracy, precision, and specificity.
- Instrument Handling: Performing hands-on operations, calibration, and maintenance of sophisticated analytical instruments like HPLC and GC.
- Dissolution Studies: Expertly handling dissolution testing apparatus, interpreting dissolution profiles, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
- Stability Analysis: Conducting and supporting stability studies of drug products as per ICH guidelines to determine shelf life and storage conditions.
- Finished Product Analysis: Executing a thorough analysis of finished OSD products to ensure they meet all predefined quality specifications and regulatory standards.
- Documentation: Meticulously following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to maintain accurate, reliable, and compliant data records for all analytical work.
Desired Candidate Profile
To be successful in this Analytical Development role, you should possess:
- A Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm) or Science (M.Sc) in relevant disciplines like Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Quality Assurance.
- A solid 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an OSD product analysis environment within a pharmaceutical company.
- Proven, practical expertise in operating and troubleshooting HPLC and GC equipment.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of dissolution testing and stability study principles.
- A thorough understanding of GMP/GLP guidelines and a commitment to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to join immediately will be a significant advantage.
