Lilly, a global leader in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Medical Affairs team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for professionals with 7+ years of experience in data analytics, pharma market intelligence, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Develop a deep understanding of therapeutic area (TA) business needs and data sources.
✔ Build scalable dashboards, data lakes, and reports using Power BI, SQL, and other visualization tools.
✔ Ensure timely and accurate reporting by managing data operations.
✔ Perform data validation, cleaning, and descriptive analytics to maintain data integrity.
✔ Support internal stakeholders with ad-hoc queries and root cause analysis.
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize reporting processes.
✔ Contribute to global healthcare strategies through data-driven insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Sciences (Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry)
- Quantitative Fields (Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Econometrics)
Technical Skills:
✔ SQL (Mandatory)
✔ Power BI (Preferred) or Tableau
✔ MS Excel & PowerPoint
✔ Basic coding in Python or R
✔ Experience in data cleaning, descriptive statistics, and analytics
Preferred Experience:
- 7-9 years in pharma analytics, business intelligence, or data operations.
- Familiarity with Wrike, JIRA, Adobe Workfront, Microsoft Project, LucidChart, or Visio.
- Experience supporting pharma product launches.
- Ability to work in global, matrixed environments.
