Job Description
Lupin, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is hiring a Research Associate – Biotech R&D for its Pune Biotech division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in biosimilar development, cell-based assays, ELISA, and flow cytometry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize cell-based assays, ELISA, and flow cytometry-based assays for biosimilars.
- Design experiments independently and develop functional bioassays to evaluate mechanism of action (MoA).
- Analyze data using PLA (equivalence testing), GraphPad Prism, Minitab, and other statistical tools.
- Apply novel technical concepts in ELISA development and characterization bioassays.
- Understand assay kinetics, receptor biology, and monoclonal antibodies (mAbs).
- Conduct bioassay method qualification/validation and transfer to QC.
- Troubleshoot assays and maintain documentation as per regulatory standards.
- Prepare protocols, reports, and participate in scientific discussions.
- Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of ICH and regulatory guidelines for biosimilars.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in method development, validation, and tech transfer.
