About the Role
Are you a skilled Medical Writer with expertise in pharmaceutical publications? CACTUS Life Sciences is looking for talented professionals to join their team. This remote role offers the opportunity to work on scientific manuscripts, posters, slide decks, medical information content, and more while collaborating with global pharmaceutical clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality medical and scientific content (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, training decks, infographics, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with client SOPs, style guides, and industry standards.
- Work closely with pharmaceutical clients, KOLs, and internal teams.
- Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and biostatistics interpretation.
- Contribute to digital medical communications, including publication extenders, interactive content, and patient narratives.
- Maintain scientific accuracy, clarity, and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with strong clinical research understanding.
- 1-3 years of experience in medical writing, publications, or medical communications.
- Excellent scientific writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences (HCPs, researchers, patients).
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of biostatistics, literature search tools (PubMed, Embase), and publication guidelines (ICMJE, GPP).
