Medifodil Smart Pharma Solutions is currently hiring an MICC Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience in Medical Information Contact Center (MICC) and Pharmacovigilance operations. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacy and life-science professionals seeking to strengthen their careers in Medical Information handling, Adverse Event intake, and global regulatory compliance.
The MICC Specialist role plays a critical function in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely management of Medical Information (MI) queries, Adverse Events (AEs), Product Quality Complaints (PQCs), and Special Situations, in alignment with ICH, GVP, FDA, and EMA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities – MICC Specialist
- Handle Medical Information inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, IVRS, web, and digital platforms
- Provide scientifically accurate, balanced, and approved MI responses in accordance with SOPs
- Identify, document, and triage Adverse Events (AEs), Serious Adverse Events (SAEs), and Special Situations within regulatory timelines
- Capture and route Product Quality Complaints (PQCs) to Quality teams as per established procedures
- Ensure complete and accurate case documentation in MICC and safety databases
- Perform follow-ups for missing information and ensure timely case closure
- Maintain strict compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and internal quality systems
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in MICC, Medical Information, or Pharmacovigilance
- Hands-on experience in MI handling, AE intake, and PQC processing
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with excellent documentation accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple cases and strict regulatory timelines
- Familiarity with MICC and safety systems such as Argus, Veeva, or CRM tools
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Salary & Benefits
- Expected Salary: ₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum (CTC), depending on experience
