We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the Formulation R&D (Solid Orals) department at our Bangalore location.
Job Title: Executive / Senior Executive – FR&D (Solid Orals)
Experience: 03 to 08 Years
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Key Responsibilities:
As a Formulation R&D Scientist, your primary role will involve:
- Planning and executing pre-formulation and formulation development activities for solid oral dosage forms (Tablets, Capsules).
- Designing robust formulation strategies for conventional and complex generic drug products.
- Conducting lab-scale trials, process optimization, and scale-up activities for technology transfer.
- Performing thorough literature reviews and patent searches to support formulation development.
- Preparing and reviewing technical documents, including product development reports, batch manufacturing records, and SOPs.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams like Analytical R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Production.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges encountered during the product development lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile:
To be successful in this pharma R&D job in Bangalore, you should possess:
- A M.Pharm / M.Sc in Pharmaceuticals or a related field.
- 03 to 08 years of hands-on experience in Formulation & Development of Solid Orals in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of excipients, unit operations, and QbD (Quality by Design) principles.
- In-depth understanding of the generic product development process and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to research.
