Micro CRISPR Pvt. Ltd., an emerging innovator in Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT), is hiring a Research & Development Associate / Scientist for its on-site facility in Delhi, India. The role offers hands-on exposure to CRISPR-Cas9, lentiviral vector development, immune cell culture, and close collaboration with Preclinical, GMP Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs teams—making it a strong career-building position in the advanced therapeutics domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute experiments related to immune cell engineering and cell therapy process development
- Perform primary immune cell culture, differentiation, and maintenance of cell lines
- Conduct gene modification using CRISPR-Cas9, lentiviral vectors, and viral transduction methods
- Generate lentiviral vectors and perform viral infection of primary immune cells
- Execute functional and phenotypic assays using:
- Flow cytometry
- ELISA
- qPCR / ddPCR
- Live-cell imaging
- Co-culture cytotoxicity assays
- Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical tools, including Design of Experiments (DoE)
- Troubleshoot experimental and process development challenges
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Support non-GMP validation studies and IND-enabling activities
- Coordinate with Preclinical, GMP Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Supply Chain teams
- Assist in regulatory inspections and compliance monitoring
- Mentor junior research associates and contribute to CGT pipeline advancement
- Ensure adherence to aseptic practices, biosafety, EHS, and sterile systems
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: PhD / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related disciplines
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant research experience
- Core Expertise:
- Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology
- T-cell or NK-cell biology
- Immuno-oncology and CGT workflows
- Technical Skills:
- Aseptic processing
- Flow cytometry

Salary & Compensation
- Estimated Salary Range: ₹6,00,000 – ₹12,00,000 per annum (CTC)
- Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and technical expertise.
