Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduation in Biomedical Engineering/Clinical Engineering
- OR Master’s in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
- OR Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized university
Desirable Experience:
- 1 year in Medical Device Industry, Post-Market Surveillance, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Management Systems
- Strong computer skills & communication abilities
Job Responsibilities
- Collection, collation, and analysis of adverse events related to medical devices.
- Quality, clinical, and statistical review of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
- Other duties assigned by the Competent Authority.

The MvPI, under the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), monitors medical device-related adverse events to ensure patient safety. JSS Hospital, Mysuru, serves as a Medical Device Adverse Event Monitoring Centre (MDMC), contributing to national healthcare safety standards.
