Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join our Logistics & Operations department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics operations, negotiating with transporters, coordinating with dispatch teams, and ensuring timely delivery of consignments. Your expertise in logistics and operations will enable us to maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction and service.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations and oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to customers
- Negotiate better freight rates with transporters to improve cost-efficiency
- Monitor and ensure timely delivery of consignments to meet customer expectations
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
- Handle payment processing (Procure to Payment) for transport services
- Maintain accurate data and reports to track logistics operations
- Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to align logistics strategies with overall company goals
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding transportation and logistics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in logistics and operations
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
