This ICMR-sponsored project provides an exciting opportunity for students and professionals to contribute to critical cancer research, enhancing the understanding of ovarian cancer’s molecular mechanisms.
Responsibilities in the Job:
As a Project Technical Assistant, you will play a key role in conducting research and supporting the ongoing study. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in molecular biology and biochemistry experiments.
- Performing cell culture techniques to study ovarian cancer.
- Participating in research documentation and maintaining records.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports for further research.
- Collaborating with fellow researchers in the Department of Biotechnology to ensure smooth project progress.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm / MS Pharm / MSc or equivalent degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences from a recognized university/institute.
- A minimum of 60% marks in the PG degree (55% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
Desired Qualifications:
- GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT qualification would be advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong foundational knowledge in molecular biology, cell culture, and biochemistry.
- Ability to work in a laboratory setting, with a focus on research and development.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively within the research team.
Prior experience in these areas is desirable, but freshers with relevant academic qualifications are encouraged to apply.
