Job Description & Responsibilities
Pfizer Limited is looking for an Instrumentation & Automation Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. The role involves ensuring zero downtime in manufacturing systems and improving operational efficiency through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Operate and troubleshoot DeltaV DCS, SCADA & PLCs
✔ Support reliability engineering for production equipment
✔ Provide on-floor operational support
✔ Handle regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, cGAMP)
✔ Review and approve automation design documents (FS, HDS, SDS, DDS)
✔ Support FAT, commissioning, and qualification activities
✔ Manage backup/archiving of automation configurations
✔ Administer site control systems & data historian
✔ Develop automation SOPs and site standards
✔ Maintain manufacturing and control-level networks
Required Skills:
✅ Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and field instrumentation
✅ Experience with industrial communication networks
✅ Understanding of SQL servers & databases
✅ Familiarity with FDA, ISO, EU, and ICH guidelines
✅ Ability to read electrical control system diagrams
