Job Description: Executive/Trainee – Production (Peptides)
Piramal Pharma is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals with a background in Chemistry for the role of Executive/Trainee within our Production Department, specializing in Peptides. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or early-career professionals to build a rewarding career in pharmaceutical manufacturing at our advanced facility in Navi Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be an integral part of our peptide production team. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Adhering to and executing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for complex peptide synthesis processes.
- Assisting in critical preparatory work such as reagent preparation, solution formulation, and equipment setup for peptide production.
- Supporting all peptide synthesis activities under the guidance and supervision of senior team members.
- Performing essential purification processes including HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), chromatography, and various filtration techniques.
- Maintaining precise, accurate, and comprehensive documentation of all production and testing activities as per industry standards.
- Ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all company safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
Required Qualification & Key Competencies:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Qualification: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of peptide synthesis and purification techniques is essential.
- Procedural Adherence: A demonstrated ability to follow SOPs meticulously and maintain flawless records and documentation.
- Quality & Safety Focus: A strong commitment to upholding GMP compliance and promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and the willingness to learn and contribute effectively to team goals.
