Job Description: Jr. Medical Writer
As a Jr. Medical Writer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical and regulatory writing projects. You will work under the guidance of senior team members to produce high-quality documents that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, writing, and formatting of various clinical and regulatory documents. This includes Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), investigator brochures, study protocols, and informed consent forms.
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and summarize scientific data to support document development.
- Ensure all documents are written with clarity, accuracy, and are in full compliance with ICH guidelines, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, Data Management, and Regulatory Affairs, to gather necessary information and ensure document accuracy.
- Support the maintenance of document templates, style guides, and reference libraries.
- Participate in document review cycles and help address feedback from internal teams and clients.
- Assist in the creation of scientific presentations, slide decks, and abstracts for conferences and publications.
- Stay updated with current industry guidelines and best practices in medical writing.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in medical writing within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or related organization.
- Skills:
- Strong scientific writing and editing skills.
- A basic understanding of the clinical development process and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
