Job Description: Associate Project Specialist – Medical Communication
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
Team: Sanofi Business Operations (SBO)
The SBO is an internal strategic resource organization that centralizes processes to support Sanofi’s global functions, including R&D, Medical, and Commercial organizations. In this role, you will be a crucial partner in ensuring the smooth execution of scientific communication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Support: Provide end-to-end project management support to scientific writers for publications and medical education materials (e.g., slide decks, manuscripts, posters, abstracts).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Support key internal and external stakeholder meetings and maintain effective relationships with the global medical scientific community.
- Process & Compliance: Ensure all deliverables adhere to strict compliance procedures using internal tools like iEnvision, PromoMats, and NAYA. Manage submission and approval activities.
- Schedule & Budget Management: Assist in building project plans, tracking deliverables, managing risks, and supporting budget tracking and external spend processes.
- Quality & Innovation: Contribute to quality enhancement and support the adoption of new technologies to improve processes and outputs.
About You: Qualifications and Experience
- Education: A university graduate degree, preferably in life sciences, pharmacy, or a similar discipline. An advanced/postgraduate degree is desirable.
- Experience: Up to 2 years of post-qualification experience. Prior exposure to pharma, project management, scientific writing, or publication submission processes is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of project management principles and scientific/medical communication.
- Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a global team.
- Languages: Fluent (excellent knowledge) in English, both spoken and written.
