Job Overview
Strand Life Sciences is seeking a highly skilled and creative Scientific Content Writer to join their team in Bangalore (Remote option available). This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in life sciences, biotechnology, or genomics, combined with exceptional writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop long-form and short-form content, including blogs, white papers, case studies, brochures, and LinkedIn posts.
- Translate complex scientific concepts into engaging, audience-friendly content.
- Collaborate with technical, design, and sales teams to align content with brand strategy.
- Conduct literature reviews on bioinformatics, genomics, and related technologies.
- Repurpose long-form content into infographics, videos, and social media posts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and SEO best practices.
- Develop thought leadership articles and interview-based case studies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Masters (2-3 years of experience) or PhD (0-2 years of experience) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields from a reputed institute.
- Proven experience in scientific content writing, copywriting, or content marketing (preferably in genetics, biotech, or diagnostics).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress) and basic design tools (Canva/Adobe Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, and digital storytelling is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in writing for biotech, pharma, or diagnostics industries.
