Job Description – Research Chemist – Analytical
Primary Responsibilities
As a Research Chemist – Analytical at SPHAERA, you will play a pivotal role in cross-functional compound development projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and optimizing analytical methods for compound characterization, certification for toxicological and non-clinical use, and stability studies.
- Utilizing advanced analytical techniques such as Analytical HPLC, NMR, mass spectrometry, and preparative liquid chromatography for complex molecules, including chiral separations.
- Maintaining and protecting intellectual property, including research schemes, journals, analytical data, and material/product safety data sheets.
- Creating high-quality scientific reports and documents to support research and development efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Organic, Physical, or Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant industrial experience in synthetic or analytical chemistry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern data acquisition and software handling.
- Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present scientific findings.
