Key Responsibilities
The Senior Officer – QC will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GLP, quality systems, and raw material testing standards.
Primary duties include:
- Performing raw material sampling as per approved sampling plan.
- Making entries in instrument and column usage logs as per GLP.
- Conducting physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials.
- Preparing volumetric solutions, test solutions, and reagents.
- Handling sample registration, template issuance, and LIMS data entry.
- Managing control samples and maintaining related documentation.
- Participating in OOS and laboratory investigation processes.
- Adhering to safety protocols for sampling and laboratory testing.
- Handling hazardous and corrosive chemicals per MSDS requirements.
- Supporting team leaders during internal/external audits.
- Arranging dispatch of samples to approved external labs.
- Ensuring laboratory remains in an audit-ready state.
- Reporting critical findings to the Section Head and QC Head.
- Performing additional QC tasks assigned by management.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. (Chemistry preferred) or
- B. Pharm
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Quality Control preferred).
