SVAK Life Sciences is hiring a Research Associate – Synthesis R&D at its state-of-the-art facility located in ALEAP Industrial Estate, Pragathi Nagar, Hyderabad. This opportunity is ideal for chemistry and pharmaceutical science professionals with hands-on experience in organic synthesis and reaction execution.
Candidates with 2–3 years of relevant synthesis R&D experience will have the opportunity to work on customer-driven molecular synthesis projects using efficient synthetic routes and modern laboratory techniques.
🧪 Key Responsibilities
- Execute chemical reactions for synthesis of target molecules as per project requirements
- Follow optimized synthetic routes under guidance of the team lead
- Identify and mitigate chemical and process safety risks with supervisor support
- Monitor reactions using analytical techniques such as TLC and other lab methods
- Perform appropriate workup and purification techniques to achieve desired quality
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and apparatus as per SOPs
- Ensure accurate documentation of experiments and observations in laboratory notebooks
- Follow GLP, safety, and housekeeping norms consistently
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- M.Sc. (Chemistry)
- B.Sc. (Chemistry)
- M.Pharm / B.Pharm (Chemistry or related discipline)
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Synthesis R&D / Organic Chemistry
