Key Responsibilities
As an Invitro ADME Scientist at Syngene, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the ADME team with planning, execution, and interpretation of physicochemical and plasma protein binding studies. Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting extensive assays such as kinetic solubility, LogD, plasma stability, blood stability, rapid equilibrium dialysis (RED), and ultracentrifugation plasma protein binding (UCPPB).
- Ensuring accuracy and reproducibility of experimental data by following protocols, optimizing conditions, and troubleshooting challenges.
- Maintaining detailed laboratory documentation, including experimental plans, raw data, and study reports, in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contributing to method development, validation, and preparation of SOPs and EOPs for new or improved assays.
- Reporting study results clearly in cross-functional meetings and adhering to environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements to promote a safe workplace.
- Demonstrating time management and multi-tasking skills to handle high-volume wave 1 ADME assays across multiple projects.
This predominantly laboratory-based position emphasizes contemporaneous recording of activities and high housekeeping standards.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this Invitro ADME Scientist role, candidates should possess:
- Educational Qualification: M.Pharm in pharmaceutical sciences or M.Sc. in biological sciences.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive understanding of in vitro ADME assays, troubleshooting expertise, knowledge of enzyme kinetics, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism, and experience with automation (desirable).
