Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is hiring a Research Scientist-I for an ICMR-funded project titled “A Multi-Omics Approach to Dissect the Molecular Mechanisms of Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer in the Indian Population” (Project No. 4421).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting advanced research in cancer biology, genomics, and multi-omics data analysis.
- Designing and executing experiments related to colorectal cancer mechanisms.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for data interpretation and publication.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with ICMR guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- First-class Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc/M.Tech) in Life Sciences/Public Health/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or related fields.
- OR Second-class PG degree with a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (as of the interview date).
Experience (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Prior experience in cancer research, genomics, or bioinformatics.
- Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Pay: ₹56,000/month
- HRA (30%): ₹16,800/month
- Total Salary: ₹72,800/month
