Pharmacist Job Description
- Position: Pharmacist
- Number of Posts: 05
- Project: Day-Care Centre for Chemotherapy across 17 districts of Bihar
- Location: Muzaffarpur, Bihar
- Monthly Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹22,000
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on interview date
- Employment Type: Contractual (6 months or project duration, whichever is earlier)
- Work Hours: Shift duties including night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Dispensing medicines and chemotherapy drugs as per prescriptions
- Maintaining accurate records of drug inventory and usage
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital protocols
- Assisting in computerized pharmacy management systems
- Collaborating with medical and nursing staff for patient care
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must fulfill one of the following criteria:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, registered under the Pharmacist Act, with 2 years experience in a hospital or pharmacy after registration.OR
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from a recognized institution, registered under the Pharmacist Act, with 1 year experience in a hospital or pharmacy after registration.
- Experience with computerized pharmacy systems is desirable.
- Must be willing to work in shifts, including night shifts.
