Key Responsibilities
As an Executive in the Formulation Technology Transfer (FTT) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless technology transfer from R&D to plant locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technology Transfer: Receiving and transferring technology from Formulation & Development (FnD) to plant locations.
- Process Optimization: Optimizing process parameters to ensure robust and efficient technology transfer.
- Batch Monitoring: Overseeing demo, scale-up, exhibit, and launch batches to ensure compliance and quality.
- Troubleshooting: Addressing and resolving issues during scale-up and exhibit batches.
- Investigation: Conducting thorough investigations for deviations, Out of Specification (OOS), and Out of Trend (OOT) observations at the plant.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluating risk assessment forms and implementing alternate vendors for excipients and API at the plant scale.
- Regulated Market Experience: Leveraging experience in regulated markets to ensure science-based, scale-up factor-driven technology transfer.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- A Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm).
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in formulation technology transfer.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience in regulated markets is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
