Job Responsibilities

Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is inviting qualified candidates for a walk-in interview for the position of Executive/Technical Assistant in the Quality Control (Formulation) department. The selected candidates will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Analysis and Testing: Perform analysis on Finished Products, Stability Samples, and Raw Materials.
2. Regulatory Exposure: Ensure adherence to USFDA, MHRA, ANVISA, and other regulatory standards, including ICH guidelines.
3. Method Validation: Participate in the analytical method validation, verification, and method transfer processes.
4. Instrument Operation: Manage and troubleshoot QC instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Polarimeter, UV-Spectrophotometer, and others.
5. Investigation: Investigate Out-of-Spec (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and Deviation issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
6. Data Interpretation: Provide accurate data interpretation and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

Candidates who meet the following academic and professional qualifications are encouraged to apply:

• Educational Requirements:
  • B.Pharm
  • M.Pharm
  • MSc in relevant fields
• Experience:
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in Quality Control in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in regulatory plants.
  • Experience in handling various analytical instruments, method validation, and troubleshooting.

Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following skills:

• Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in analyzing finished products, raw materials, and stability samples.
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of QC instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Polarimeter, UV-Spectrophotometer, and more.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of USFDA, MHRA, ANVISA, ICH guidelines, and other regulatory standards.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, especially related to OOS, OOT, and deviations.
• Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately to maintain high-quality standards.
