Job Description: Medical Coder
As a Medical Coder at Cotiviti, you will play a critical role in the healthcare revenue cycle. You will be responsible for reviewing patient medical records and translating the medical services, diagnoses, and procedures into universal medical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assign diagnostic and procedural codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) for evaluation and management (E/M) services.
- Analyze complex medical records to ensure the codes reflect the patient’s diagnoses and treatments.
- Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations and payer-specific guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity to meet departmental standards.
- Collaborate with team members and managers to resolve coding-related issues.
Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?
