Job Description: Certified Medical Coder – HCC (Fresher)
As a HCC Medical Coder at GEBBS, you will play a crucial role in the revenue cycle management process for our clients. You will be responsible for reviewing complex medical records and applying your coding expertise to ensure accurate risk adjustment coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze patient medical records from various sources (clinics, hospitals, physician records).
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes for diagnoses and procedures, specifically focused on Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding.
- Ensure all coding complies with official coding guidelines, CMS regulations, and company-specific policies.
- Utilize encoder software and electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy to meet departmental goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and audits to stay updated with the latest coding standards and compliance requirements.
Who Should Apply?
- Eligibility: Freshers with a CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification from AAPC is mandatory.
