Job Description: Research Associate – Antibody Engineering
Location: Bangalore, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform DNA and RNA extraction with precision and accuracy.
- Execute various PCR techniques including inverse PCR, touchdown/up PCR, gradient PCR, long amplicons, TaqMan assays, real-time PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
- Prepare ultra-competent cells and perform transformations using chemical and electroporation methods.
- Conduct cloning using advanced methods such as subcloning, Gibson assembly, Golden Gate, Gateway, and In-Fusion cloning.
- Generate high-quality experimental data consistently and update laboratory notebooks (LNB) and databases promptly.
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental protocols within the laboratory setting.
Desired Profile:
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- 2-6 years of relevant research experience in molecular biology and antibody engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with PCR, cloning, and transformation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Commitment to maintaining data integrity and laboratory safety standards.
