Job Description: Research Associate – Antibody Engineering

Location: Bangalore, India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform DNA and RNA extraction with precision and accuracy.
  • Execute various PCR techniques including inverse PCR, touchdown/up PCR, gradient PCR, long amplicons, TaqMan assays, real-time PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
  • Prepare ultra-competent cells and perform transformations using chemical and electroporation methods.
  • Conduct cloning using advanced methods such as subcloning, Gibson assembly, Golden Gate, Gateway, and In-Fusion cloning.
  • Generate high-quality experimental data consistently and update laboratory notebooks (LNB) and databases promptly.
  • Adhere to safety, health, and environmental protocols within the laboratory setting.

Desired Profile:

  • M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
  • 2-6 years of relevant research experience in molecular biology and antibody engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PCR, cloning, and transformation techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining data integrity and laboratory safety standards.
