Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Scientist – Analytical Sciences at Colgate-Palmolive, the selected candidate will:

  • Provide analytical expertise for Personal Care stability studies and raw material qualifications supporting India and European markets.
  • Collaborate with analytical sciences, product development, procurement teams, and suppliers on raw material qualification and root-cause investigations.
  • Support the preparation and development of product specifications.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories and research institutes for advanced analytical testing and deeper scientific investigations.
  • Analyze raw materials, experimental formulations, finished products, and troubleshooting samples.
  • Follow approved analytical laboratory procedures, experimental methods, pharmacopeial/compendial methods, and published standards.
  • Conduct routine analytical testing in a cGMP environment and accurately report results.
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, qualify, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records.
  • Follow good documentation practices and data-integrity requirements.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to innovation, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Keep current with scientific literature, industry developments, regulations, publications, conferences, and patent filings.
  • Use scientific expertise to identify potential technical problems and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable product safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Eligibility
