The interview for the pharmacist position will be held at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Cancer Centre, Varanasi.
Responsibilities of the Pharmacist: As a pharmacist at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the hospital’s pharmacy department. Your key duties include:
- Dispensing medications as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Preparing and dispensing pharmaceutical products to patients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Providing advice and guidance to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects.
- Maintaining accurate patient medication records.
- Ensuring the proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
- Managing inventory, including ordering and tracking medicines and supplies.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure the best patient care.
- Handling computerized systems for medication management.
- Working in shifts, including night shifts, to ensure 24/7 pharmaceutical services.
Qualifications Required: To be eligible for the pharmacist position, candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and experience:
- Education:
- B. Pharm with a minimum of 1 year of experience OR
- D. Pharm with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dispensary or hospital pharmacy.
- Experience:
- Must have experience working in a hospital pharmacy with a minimum of 200 beds.
- Other Requirements:
- Registration with the State Pharmacy Council with a duly allotted Registration Number is mandatory.
- Experience in working with computerized systems is desirable.
Candidates should also be prepared to work in shift duties, including night shifts.
