Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Scientist in formulation development, you will:
- Develop oral dosage forms including immediate release, delayed release, and controlled release formulations
- Work on hard gelatin capsules, soft gelatin capsules, suspensions, syrups, and dry powders
- Conduct pre-formulation and formulation development for NCEs and ANDA products
- Design and evaluate novel drug delivery systems such as microspheres, pellets, and spray-coated particles
- Perform dissolution studies, stability testing, and set specifications as per ICH guidelines
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and support regulatory documentation (CMC, CTD, IND, NDA, ANDA)
- Handle technology transfer to manufacturing plants for scale-up and clinical batches
- Collaborate with QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Production teams
- Maintain lab inventory, ensure compliance, and respond to regulatory queries
