Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Scientist in Synthesis R&D, you will:
- Execute multi-step organic synthesis from milligram to gram scale.
- Perform reaction setup, monitoring, work-up, and purification activities.
- Troubleshoot synthetic challenges and optimize reaction conditions.
- Carry out purification using:
- Column Chromatography
- Preparative HPLC
- Crystallization Techniques
- Characterize synthesized compounds using:
- NMR
- LCMS
- HPLC
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality compounds meeting client requirements.
- Collaborate with project leaders and cross-functional research teams.
- Follow laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc in Organic Chemistry with 7–10 years of relevant industry experience
OR
- Ph.D in Organic Chemistry with 1–2 years of relevant post-doctoral/industrial experience
