Key Responsibilities
The selected Medical Transcriptionist will be responsible for:
Discharge Summary Preparation
- Assist in timely and accurate preparation of discharge summaries.
- Type and prepare discharge summaries for IPD patients.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
Investigation Report Documentation
- Type investigation reports accurately and on time.
- Feed investigation details into the Hospital Information System (HIS).

Daily Summary Updates
- Update daily summaries for at least 80% of admitted patients in assigned areas.
- Submit daily updated summary reports for planned discharge cases.
- Maintain and update pending death summary records regularly.
Compliance and Quality Management
- Follow hospital service quality processes and policies.
- Ensure compliance with patient safety standards.
- Promote safe utilization of equipment.
- Support proper biomedical waste disposal practices.
