Position: Clinical Research Coordinator – ATLAS-NEO
The Clinical Research Coordinator will coordinate clinical study activities, communicate with patients, investigators, sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), institutional ethics committees (IECs), laboratory staff, and other departments. The role involves conducting studies according to ICH-GCP guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and study protocols.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient screening, audio-video consenting, enrolment, periodic study visits, and study closeout visits.
- Protect the rights and well-being of research participants throughout the study.
- Assist with feasibility questionnaires and coordinate pre-site selection and site initiation visits.
- Support principal investigators and co-investigators in identifying potentially eligible patients.
- Coordinate with finance, legal, and regulatory teams and assist with clinical trial agreement (CTA) preparation.
- Maintain source documents, Site Master Files, and other study documentation.
- Complete CRFs and e-CRFs on time and resolve data queries.
- Work with EDC, Inform, and Medidata data capture systems.
- Manage study consumables, investigational product handling, storage, dispensing, accountability, and temperature tracking.
- Coordinate equipment calibration, sample centrifugation, document courier services, and laboratory sample shipments.
- Prepare, notify, and track ethics committee submissions.
- Submit study progress reports, amendments, protocol deviations, adverse events (AEs), and serious adverse events (SAEs) to the ethics committee and sponsor within the required timelines.
- Coordinate with investigators and safety monitoring teams during SAEs.
- Assist in resolving IEC, DCGI, and FDA queries.
- Coordinate sponsor/CRO monitoring visits and facilitate inspections and audits.
- Follow up with patients and maintain telephone contact reports.
- Archive study documents and maintain records of closed studies.
- Resolve post-closeout queries.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- A degree with a life sciences background.
- Training in clinical research.
- Preferred qualifications include a Diploma in Clinical Research, MSc in Clinical Research, or Pharm.D.
- One year of experience is preferred; freshers can also apply.
Required Skills and Languages
- Clinical study coordination and patient communication.
- Clinical trial documentation and data entry.
- Familiarity with clinical data capture systems, including EDC and Medidata.
- Understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and study protocols.
- Preferred languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu.
