Job Summary:
As a PS Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with hazard communication regulations and supporting product safety processes. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels, managing data-intensive activities, and providing regulatory support to internal and external customers. This position requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work across global time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to hazard communication processes, data management, and process improvements.
- Prepare and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in compliance with regional regulations.
- Collaborate with global customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address regulatory compliance needs.
- Support change management processes, including Notification of Change (NOC) initiatives.
- Enhance knowledge of Momentive’s product portfolio and hazard communication regulations through training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Science, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- 0-2 years of experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Compliance, or Environmental Health and Safety.
- Strong English verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in standard office systems and data management tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle data-intensive tasks.
- Flexibility to work across global time zones for business interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with SAP.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office.
