Role Prerequisites
- Certification in AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders)
- Graduate in any Life Sciences background
- Strong knowledge of ICD 10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Experience in E&M (Evaluation & Management), Denials, and Surgery coding
- Ability to review medical records and assign accurate codes
- Understanding of medical necessity and APC (Ambulatory Payment Classification) for chart processing
