Job Description: Pharmacist at ECHS Polyclinics
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is hiring a qualified Pharmacist for its Mansa Polyclinic. This is a contractual position (2 years for Ex-Servicemen, 11 months for civilians).
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications as per prescriptions.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory and ensuring stock availability.
- Ensuring compliance with the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Managing patient records and assisting in pharmacy operations.
- Handling computer-based documentation (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred).
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- B.Pharm from a recognized institute OR
- 10+2 (Science Stream – PCB) + Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a PCI-recognized institute.
- Must be registered under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Age Limit:
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM): Up to 56 years
- Civilians: Up to 57 years
About ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme)
ECHS operates under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and provides healthcare services to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and their dependents. It has 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics across India. The organization is headed by a Major General and functions under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW).
