Malabar Cancer Centre Hiring Project Manager

Malabar Cancer Centre (MCC), a prestigious institution dedicated to oncology care and research, invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Manager on a temporary basis. The role is part of a government-funded project titled “To establish a ready network of clinical trial units across the National Cancer Grid to promote multi-centric collaborative research in the field of drug and device development,” sponsored by Biotechnology Industry Assistance Council (BIRAC), Govt. of India.

Responsibilities in the Job

As a Project Manager, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the project. Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders, including research teams, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • MBBS / BDS / MSc in Biostatistics, Clinical Research, or Nursing.
    • Any postgraduate degree in Life Sciences with a PG Diploma or training in clinical research.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical trials, funded research projects, pharmaceutical-sponsored studies, or industry-supported research.
  • Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 1st January 2025).

Skills Required

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in clinical research methodologies and protocols.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines in clinical trials.
  • Technical expertise in handling research documentation and reporting.

Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 50,000.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The position is purely temporary for a period of six months or until project completion.
  2. Candidates will not have claims for regular posts or benefits.
  3. The decision of the MCC Director is final regarding recruitment.
  4. Applicants are advised against canvassing, which will result in disqualification.
