Responsibilities in the Job: As a Post-Research Associate Bioinformatics professional, your role will include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Conduct bioinformatics analysis and data interpretation using various bioinformatics tools and software.
- Perform sequence analysis, gene expression analysis, and protein structure prediction to support ongoing research projects.
- Build and analyze phylogenetic trees, perform drug discovery applications, and assist in structure-based drug design.
- Process and analyze NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) data, providing valuable insights to aid research.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of bioinformatics workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bioinformatics-related projects.
- Maintain accurate records of data analysis and document findings.
Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or a related field.
- Freshers with 6 months of internship training are welcome to apply.
- Strong foundation in bioinformatics concepts and applications.
Skills Required:
- Bioinformatics Tools: Proficient in using PyMOL, BLAST, AutoDock, PHYLIP, ClustalW, SwissDock, Argus Lab, Castp, Swiss-ADME, ORF Finder, and Genscan.
- Databases: Experience working with NCBI, GenBank, UniProt, PDB, DDBJ.
- NGS Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret NGS data.
- Programming Languages: Skilled in Linux, Python, R, C, and Perl for bioinformatics data analysis.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and applying machine learning techniques to complex biological datasets.
