Central Drugs Testing Laboratory (CDTL) under the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, is inviting applications for the following positions on deputation:
1. Junior Scientific Officer (Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
- Location: CDTL, Hyderabad
- Pay Level: 8 (Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100) as per 7th CPC
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or recognized research institutions.
- Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Medicine, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- Experience: 4 years of experience in drug testing, standardisation, and research.
- Desirable: A Doctorate in any of the relevant fields.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.
- Method of Recruitment: 50% by promotion, failing which by deputation.
2. Senior Scientific Assistant (Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial)
- Location: CDTL, Hyderabad
- Pay Level: 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400) as per 7th CPC
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Deputation: Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or recognized research institutions.
- Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Bacteriology, Medicine, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in drug testing, standardisation, and research.
- Desirable: A Doctorate in any of the relevant fields.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.
- Method of Recruitment: 50% by promotion, failing which by deputation.
Important Notes:
- The period of deputation should not exceed 3 years.
- Applicants should not exceed 56 years of age as of the closing date for applications.
- Departmental officers in the promotion line are not eligible for deputation.
