Job Description
As an Executive in Quality Control, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of Stability Samples and Finished Products: You will be conducting detailed analyses of stability samples and finished products in compliance with Standard Testing Procedures (STP) and specifications specific to the hormone block.
- Calibration and Maintenance of Instruments: Routine calibration of essential instruments such as Balances, pH meters, and Conductivity meters will be part of your duties, ensuring accuracy in our testing processes.
- Timely Reporting and Documentation: Regular analysis of stability samples and prompt documentation of any abnormalities will be critical. You’ll also be tasked with the timely charging and withdrawal of samples from stability chambers.
- GLP/GMP Compliance: You will play an essential role in implementing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), aligning practices with global regulatory standards including MHRA, and USFDA.
- Sample Reconciliation and Data Management: Ensuring accurate sample reconciliation and thorough documentation within the specified time frame is crucial, as is maintaining up-to-date records in software platforms like LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
Requirements
To be considered for the Executive Quality Control position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) is required.
- Experience: Candidates should possess 2-4 years of experience in chemical and instrumental analysis within a QC setting, particularly related to finished goods and stability testing.
- Licensing: An approved Chemist license is preferred to strengthen your candidacy.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A good understanding of regulatory audits, especially from MHRA and USFDA, is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies
