Job Responsibilities and Key Areas for Production Roles
For candidates applying for the Executive and Senior Executive roles in the Production Pharma department, the following responsibilities are essential:
- Supervision of aseptic area activities, including shift handling, documentation, media fill activities, and aseptic behaviour monitoring.
- Managing area cleaning and sanitation, sterilizer loads, filter integrity, disinfectant preparation, and filtration activities.
- Supervising unit preparation activities, compilation of batch records, review of log books, and periodic activities such as filter integrity, balance verification, and calibration.
- Overseeing batch preparation, process sequence cycles of vessels, and related documentation.
For Officer and Senior Officer positions, responsibilities include:
- Operating filling machines (e.g., Groninger), cleaning and sanitizing aseptic areas, and performing aseptic operations like media fill and sterile filtering.
- Monitoring and handling machine parts, sterilizers, and disinfectants.
- Performing PM, Calibration, and equipment verification activities.
Job Qualifications
For Production Pharma roles:
- Executive & Senior Executive: M.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Sc. (Chemistry) with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
For Officer & Senior Officer roles:
- Officer & Senior Officer: ITI, Diploma, or B.Sc. with 2 to 6 years of experience in aseptic operations, equipment operation, cleaning, and calibration tasks.
For Quality Control roles:
- Junior Executive/Executive: B.Pharm or M.Sc. with 1 to 2 years of experience in raw material (RM) and product material (PM) testing and pretesting.
Required Skills
For Production Pharma positions, candidates should have expertise in:
- Supervision of aseptic and sterile processes
- Area cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization procedures
- Batch preparation, equipment calibration, and documentation management
- Knowledge of media fill, filter integrity, and sterilization techniques
