Position
QC Microbiology
The selected professional will be responsible for microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, documentation, laboratory activities, and compliance within the Quality Control – Microbiology function.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct water testing, microbial limit testing, and bioburden testing.
- Perform Environmental Monitoring, including air, surface, and personnel monitoring as applicable.
- Carry out media preparation, sterilization, and Growth Promotion Testing (GPT).
- Handle microbial cultures and microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Maintain worksheets, logbooks, test records, and documentation as per GDP.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Support deviations, OOS/OOT, investigations, CAPA, and change control activities.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, and other departments for microbiology-related activities.
- Support audits and regulatory/customer requirements.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Microbiology or a relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience
- API experience is preferred.
