Job Description: Research Associate – Cell Culture Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently design and execute cell culture and assay-based experiments.
- Perform primary and mammalian cell culture, including PBMC & NK cell isolation.
- Manage cell cryopreservation, revival, and maintenance of cell banks following regulatory standards.
- Conduct cell-based assays such as Flow Cytometry (cytotoxicity, MLR), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), and Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
- Work on viral vector production, purification, transfection/transduction, and maintain vector-producing cell lines.
- Utilize CRISPR-Cas technology (preferred but not mandatory).
- Perform Western blotting, RT-PCR, and fluorescent microscopy.
- Maintain aseptic techniques, BSL-2 lab protocols, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Analyze data using Flow Cytometry, GraphPad, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Develop and standardize SOPs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors, manage inventory, and enforce lab safety procedures.
Required Skills & Expertise:
✔ 1-3 years of industrial experience in cell & gene therapy (preferred).
✔ Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and viral vector handling.
✔ Knowledge of CRISPR, Western blotting, and RT-PCR.
✔ Strong data interpretation and documentation skills.
✔ Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
