Key Responsibilities
As an Analytical Team Leader at Colgate-Palmolive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analytical Testing & Quality Control: Conduct chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with Key Release Specifications (KRS) and Key Process Controls (KPC).
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Cosmetic Rules 2020 and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable analytical testing.
- Data Integrity & Record Keeping: Maintain precise laboratory records and ensure data integrity.
- Validation & Method Development: Support the validation of formulas and manufacturing processes.
- Laboratory Training & SOP Implementation: Train new analysts and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Non-Conformance Investigations: Provide analytical support to resolve non-conformance issues.
- Corporate Quality Programs: Lead Quality & Environmental Safety programs within the laboratory.
- GMP & GLP Compliance: Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a cosmetic or pharmaceutical laboratory.
- Skills: Strong analytical testing and data interpretation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- Language: Good command of English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in a quality control laboratory.
- Shift Work: Ability to work in shifts.
- SAP-QM System: Familiarity with SAP-QM for test reporting.
- Instrumentation: Experience in installing and qualifying laboratory instruments.
