Vacancy Details
ECHS has announced 03 Pharmacist vacancies for the following locations:
- Hoshiarpur
- Jalandhar
- Garhshankar
The appointment will be:
- One year for Ex-Servicemen
- 11 months for Civilian candidates
The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements.
Pharmacist Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Dispensing medicines as per physician prescriptions.
- Maintaining pharmacy inventory and stock records.
- Ensuring compliance with Pharmacy Council of India and ECHS guidelines.
- Verifying medicine expiry dates and storage conditions.
- Maintaining patient medication records.
- Assisting doctors in pharmaceutical services.
- Following Ministry of Defence healthcare protocols.
- Supporting quality assurance and documentation activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI)
OR
- 10+2 (Science) with an approved Diploma in Pharmacy from a PCI-recognized institute.
Additionally:
- Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- Maximum age: 56 years
Salary
Selected Pharmacists will receive:
₹36,500 per month (Fixed Contractual Remuneration)
